You see this girl? This beautiful girl. This girl is my sister. She looked happy, didn’t she? I thought she was. But I had no clue what can hide behind a smile. Two days ago, on September 14th, 2012, I found Sierra Alexa Hixenbaugh, my beautiful sister, hanging in my closet. She didn’t make it. She thought she wasn’t loved. She thought there was no way out. But she was wrong. So many people have been affected by her death. And she’ll never get to truly appreciate how much we all love her. But what I want to come out of this tragedy is hope. I want anyone that is thinking of/attempted to hurt themselves, that they are not alone. You are never alone. You have someone looking out for you. Each and every one of you have someone looking out for you. I’m looking out for you. The pain that you are feeling right now is only temporary. I promise you that. When things get hard don’t give up. Do it for me. Do it for Sierra. Never lose hope. You have purpose. You are beautiful. Reblog for suicide awareness.
